Hugh grew up in Stoke on Trent and is of Dutch and English descent. He qualified as a GP in London and then moved to Bristol to complete his training. Desiring an escape from the city, he moved to Gloucestershire in 2002. Hugh has interests in Mental Health, Neurology and Learning Disabilities.
When not working at Regent Street he leads the Facts 4 Life project which aims to bring ideas about illness / wellness into schools. He also sits on the Living Well committee. Hugh has 3 children and in his spare time he enjoys painting and photography.

Sara is originally from Nailsworth but grew up in mainland Europe. Having qualified in Sheffield in 2002 she worked in hospitals in South Yorkshire and Oxfordshire. She completed her training as a GP in 2007 in Oxford and moved back to Gloucestershire in 2010.
She has interests in paediatric medicine, women's health and family planning. Sara can fit intra-uterine (coils) and the contraceptive implant.
Sara enjoys knitting and crochet and is a keen reader. She is married and has two young sons.

Vashti is originally from Cheltenham and having qualified in 2008, moved back to the local area to finish her training at Cheltenham General and Gloucester Royal Hospitals. She has interests in dermatology / minor surgery, women's health and elderly care. Vashti is married with two young sons to keep her busy and in her free times she enjoys running and cooking.

Hannah joined Regent Street Surgery as a Salaried GP in October 2017 having previously worked in General Practice in Swindon. She is leading on diabetes care at Regent Street. Out of work, Hannah is kept busy by her young family and enjoys hiking, camping and reading.

Our practice nurse is on duty for help and advice on general matters - holiday vaccinations, under 5’s immunisations, family planning, cervical smears, wound care management and chronic disease reviews.

Our healthcare assistant runs her own phlebotomy clinic 3 times a week, taking bloods, blood pressures, warfarin monitoring and NHS health checks.
The practice manager is Claire Farragher and she is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
Working with us are a District Nursing Team, Health Visitor, Midwives, Health Care Assistant & Phlebotomist.
